Techniques to get Perfect Ironing

How to Iron Embellished Fabrics?
How to Iron Embellished Fabrics?
  • Hold the garment steamer at a distance of 4-5 cm from the embellished outfit, so the fabric can hold its shape while the steam burst de-creases it.
  • If the outfit is heavily wrinkled, you can turn the outfit inside out and steam without damaging the embellishments.

How to Iron a Pleated Skirt or Pant?
  • Set your Iron to the recommended temperature for the Fabric. For better results, Use a Steam Iron if the fabric can be steamed.
  • Iron the waistband of the skirt first, then arrange the pleats in the way they are supposed to appear and hold them in that pattern while ironing on it. If the pleats are difficult to arrange, pin the pleats while you iron over it. (Do not iron over the pins)
  • Iron in a top to bottom manner.
  • Once done, hang it up immediately to hold the pleats in place.
  • In case of pants, iron the pocket lining first and then the pleats.
